Airline Information

Most major airlines fly into Nassau, Bahamas with the local airline "Bahamasair" connecting to either Deadmans Cay or Stella Maris airport in Long Island.  Visit Bahamasair.com for schedules and fares.

Your final destination will be Deadmans Cay or Stella Maris, Long Island. C-Shells is closest to Deadmans Cay.

There are two other charter airlines providing regular scheduled flights into Long Island:  www.southernaircharter.com andwww.pineappleair.net  

Private charters are also available from Nassau ,Georgetown , Exuma to Stella Maris or Nassau to Stella Maris.

Private aircraft arriving from international destinations will have to clear Customs at the Stella Maris airport.  Customs is not available at Deadman's Cay airport. 

We can pick up from Deadman's Cay airport at no charge.

If you are feeling adventurous you may want to take a trip on the local mailboat "Motor Vessel Island Link".  This a 12 hour trip from Nassau to Salt Pond, Long Island.  It travels through the Exuma Cays on to Long Island.  We do not recommend this however the option is available and the choice is yours.

Even though you can walk to the grocery store from C Shells we are happy to take you there to pick up groceries needed for your stay.

Long Island has one main road that runs North to South on the island.  This main road is known as "Queen's Highway".  It's fairly impossible to get lost here even with the lack of street signs. There are a handful of taxi's available on the island and they must be arranged in advance.  Rental cars must be arranged in advance and can be waiting at the airport for your arrival.  They are not available at the airports We are happy to assist you with your transportation needs while at C Shells.

There is no public transportation available on the island
